To begin, we reviewed the work and reading from yesterday.
You then added three excerpts to your Style Analysis chart. These passages should come from your interest and something you may be willing to write more about later. Think about using the evidence from yesterday's work.
Read chapters 17-19 for homework.
Periods 3 and 4:
We started the period with a chapter 11 quiz.
After, you were asked to analyze and think about the following categories:
1. Women
2. Children
3. The Individual
4. The Community
The society and social hierarchy in things Fall Apart is complex and varies from our own. We can stand to take some time to interpret the roles of individuals or groups.
For each quadrant, you will write a statement about the role, then find evidence from the text (anywhere) that supports your statement.
Period 6:
Did you finish reading?
Many of you have not finished reading "The Possibility of Evil". Please finish today! I'll be assessing your work in Formative later today.
Finish early? You can earn some bonus points by answering some analysis questions about the text.
CLICK HERE for the questions. Please answer on lined paper and submit your work to the inbox. You can skip questions 5 and 7.
